To The Stars And Back - Camilla Isley

Blurb

When Hollywood’s sexiest bachelor meets the girl next door their relationship doesn’t follow the script…
On-screen, Christian Slade is America’s favourite heartthrob. Off-screen, letting romance into his life isn’t as easy. The women he dates all seem to want a piece of his glamorous life rather than his heart, and trust doesn’t come easy for him.
Then along comes Lana. A beautiful rocket scientist who’s also sweet, smart, sexy, and has absolutely no idea who he is. But what will happen when she finds out?
Will their worlds prove too far apart or could love really be like in the movies?

Review
Christian the Hollywood heart throb is running from the paparazzi, he decided  to hide out in the store cupboard  where he comes across a crying Lana who has no idea who, he is how FAMOUS he is (she doesn't own a TV). They are instantly attracted to each other... but are their worlds too far apart? She is a Rocket Scientist and he is a Mega Star, are they destined to fall apart or will they finally get a happy ending?

This novel is a fun, quick and easy read perfect or a afternoon in the sunshine! The characters are quirky and charismatic from the beginning flinging easy one liners at each other the writing will soon bring a smile to your face. The story offers a bit of everything laughter, passion, tears and of course there are a few twists along the way. This is the 4th book in the series but is can easily be read as a standalone. Isley writes a refreshingly strong female lead, perfect for fans of Paige Toon and Giovanna Fletcher. This is my first Isley book but it definitely won't be my last.

About the author

Camilla is an engineer turned writer after she quit her job to follow her husband on an adventure abroad.

She’s a cat lover, coffee addict, and shoe hoarder. Besides writing, she loves reading—duh!—cooking, watching bad TV, and going to the movies—popcorn, please. She’s a bit of a foodie, nothing too serious. A keen traveller, Camilla knows mosquitoes play a role in the ecosystem, and she doesn’t want to starve all those frog princes out there, but she could really live without them.
